Memories are reminders,

Reminders of the way things used to be,

Either good or bad,

Just depends on the moment.

Memories keep us connected,

They keep us in remembrance,

Remembrance of times past,

Times that have gone and passed away.

Looking back now I see,

How I could’ve changed things,

To make them better,

To keep my life whole.

I close my eyes and reminisce,

Of the days gone by,

Of how life could’ve been

Of how things could have been different.

So press rewind,

Make the change,

Then maybe, just maybe,

Life will be better.
