Shouting, screaming,
never look back
You tell me something again and again,
before I can even prove myself
When I start to speak
you cut me off
my words go in one ear
and out the other
you run away
hightailing it
until you get away
never letting me catch up
and when your feelings crack
you run to someone else
sharing everything with them
forgetting I have been here longer
forgetting I am watching you cry
Should I paint myself bright orange
Set up neon signs
Would that would be enough
Would you finally notice me
