Their aura radiated of exhaustion. 

You could easily confuse their uncaring with comfortability, as they just laid there; obscuring the left side of their face with their arm.

Their cheek became a bubble, squishing their eye flat. 

I couldn't read anything past the sleepiness. 

Was it an abstracted bitter-sweetness?

I could not tell. I just had to keep looking. 

How does a thing so young seem so worn out?

They seemed slightly mangled, due to the awkward position they were in. 

What I was looking at, did not feel natural to me.

It felt broken.
