This was a poem I wrote toward the end of last year when I was going through a really bad depression. While I don't feel this way anymore, I feel this is still important to share to show that writing can be a great therapy for those also going through hard times.

After she cries,

She wipes her eyes,

And rocks herself to sleep.

She wants to die,

She cannot lie,

They're thoughts she wants to keep.

When she's in pain,

And feels the rain

As it slowly rolls down her back,

She pulls the lever,

And finds herself clever,

For now she has what they all lack.

She's free from you,

And what you do,

To tell her she's not enough.

She's not made of stone,

And now she's alone,

But no longer has to be tough.
