EVOLUTION

When we swept away our past like a dream of spiritual ecstacy,

When we tried to hang on lucidely to our evolution,

And rejected all those things that ever connected us,

To our cannibal past,insomnia

And gibberish ashes of greatness,

squashed under our shoes,

Curved out of pride.

When we turned into the same superficial species,

Which we had feared for ages.

When we started breaking our own heads,

By deliberatly crashing against the floor of judgement,

That was the day when God whispered into our ears,

"You are just a mortal".
