DIARY OF READING:"Blink: the power of thinking of without thinking" by Malcolm Gladwell.

One of my hobbies is reading. I read a lot of books, usually one a week. The recent book that I read which is Malcolm Glawell's Blink. The first thing about it attracts me that is its title, "Blink". And the more I read it, the more I like it. Gladwell's research demonstrates how someone's inner self or subconscious effects his or her decisions. The first chapter, Gladwell introduces the idea of "thin slicing". That idea has helped me understand more about the power of the little bit of knowledge. With a bit, we can do great something. The second chapter has helped me understand more about a concept, which I have heard a lot, our intuition. In this chapter, Gladwell has explained that our intuition tells us that we can trust someone or do something, but we cannot articulate why we think the way we do. It has caused me a deep impression. And the third chapter explains about first impression, which can cause humans to use thin slicing negatively. A great book! Thank Gladwell!
