Hell-bent in a cavern so vast,

Hell-bent, nothing shall last.

A house divided

Has never avoided

The eventual cracking

Of the Mold-Makers Cast.

What is the matter with us?

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust!

The fanatical fringe

Has gone on a binge

And has washed out the roads

To the land of trust.

Castles and towers standing on sand

Could not be the work of the Master's hand.

On a rock you shall build,

Without hate it was willed,

But the beguiler has deceived

And our demise is well planned.

Just like Rome was divided,

The love of democracy --- subsided.

Now the New Promise Land,

That bird in the hand,

Has been traded for two

So blighted.

Divide and concur, then put it to bed,

Divide and concurs, freedom is shed.

From a socialist's bravado

To a nit-wit's crescendo,

Any old tyrant

Can cut off your head.
