That old crow is back and is in fighting form,

Diving and swooping, flapping of wings,

Talons outstretched in a savage stance

Beak ready to strike, head, face, eye

Any place where damage can be caused.

She's not picky, anywhere will do

She just wants to cause a bit of pain,

Terror so extreme it brings paralysis.

She wants to draw blood, she wants to feed

She doesn't care that her prey is alive

The challenge is so much greater

The satisfaction of bringing about defeat

So much the sweeter with a struggle

She'll retreat as though defeated

But then is back again for another go

Gripping, ripping, tearing her victim,

Shredding away any will to fight on.

The old crow has learnt that with her persistance

She will not be beaten at all.
