Along the stained sink midnight fell,

the room filled with shadows and a musky smell.
The girl lied breathless on the cold floor,
not a soul could help her, not evermore.

Rain fell upon the shallow grave,
the body buried was no longer brave.
She fought and battled against her vanity,
in the end it led to her insanity.

We cannot help the demon inside,
most of us just run and hide.
To other nameless and invisible,
to those who know blameless and invincible.
