A poem I wrote up real quick; came to me out of nowhere and just started writing. It came to me in the form of a song and was singing it. So I guess a song/ poem???

I don't know if it's Christmas

Or if winter's come and gone.

Is the sun right outside

Beating down on my front lawn?

I wouldn't know.

So don't ask 'cause

I wouldn't know.

I wonder if it’s summer.

I haven't looked out my window in forever.

Is it spring

And do the birds still sing?

I wonder;

Does the moon come out at night?

Is the sun still bright and

Does it still shine on the outside?

Do people walk around?

I wonder

How people look these days.

I wouldn't know;

When they knock I tell them to go away.

They ask, “Should I leave it outside?”

I reply,

“That’s fine.”

I forget to tell them I’m dying.

They ask my mother,

“How is he?”

She says,

“I haven't seen him sense he was sixteen,”

He left and forgot to grab his coat.

“So, I wouldn't know.

I wouldn't know.”
