Kratos had conquered innumerous feats, killed countless monsters, defeated several Gods and Goddesses, and defied death itself. Yet when he saw Akasha, he feared that his entire existence was nothing, not even a tiny speck of dust trying to land on a cold hardened pile of cow droppings. She didn’t have a care in the world, nothing past the simple desire to feed and prove how powerful she was. She simply wanted to continue living, and killing those that got in her way.

Before seeing her, Kratos believed that he could never feel happiness again since killing his own wife and daughter. And while Akasha didn’t make Kratos feel love per-say, he did feel a deep connection that he hadn’t felt since his wife. He felt a true need from her, he knew that her hatred for humanity, and even deeper hatred of those who tried to control her, would both hinder him, and complete him. She could give him the strength and determination and even animalistic desire to finish destroying all of the Gods and Goddesses left.

Akasha was disgusted with everything around her. Everyone in the nearest 27 mile radius (I know, random number, but she didn’t chose it) smelt of slowly rotting away inside itself. She only felt false hope, despair, and wait. What was that? She smelt a conqueror, a fearless God who killed whoever got in his way, someone who wouldn’t question her, instead fight with her. Maybe she could finally take a seat of power she thought she always deserved. Taste the blood of the Gods she deemed unimportant and a waste of space; all of them.
