I'm sorry. You told me not to let her leave my sight. Why did i do it?

It all happened so fast. It almost seems like a dream. It was a beautiful sunshine all around, us three walking hand in hand. We knew not to take her near a busy road, the cars fascinated her, why did we do it? I held her hand tight as you ran over to the cash point and i stood there, gazing into her beautiful Emerald eyes for what felt like forever.

"Emma" I heard. A familiar voice being projected over the swarming crowds of bodies behind me.

I turned my head around to put a face to the voice, meanwhile losing my grasp from her agile, little hand. Too much happened. Upon not finding the face i wanted to, i turned my head again. Where was she? I scanned the endless crowds. The road!

She was headed for the road!

I panicked!

I ran!

I heard you shouting behind me!

The cars wouldn't stop!

Bodies hurried before me!

It was too late anyway...

Screams rattled through my bleak mind and suddenly that sun turned to rain.

In that moment a part of my heart and soul left me. I ran over to her mangled body, passing her scattered entrails on my way. A pool of blood had just started forming around her now crushed skull. This was surreal. I feel to my knees as every inch of my body screamed, every tear that ran down my burning cheeks like acid. All eyes on me, telling me i failed you all.

Time stood still as i turned one more time to see you on the floor with you head heavily set in your cupped hands. wimpering and shaking and the face to that voice standing there, smirking.

It's all my fault, I'm sorry.
