Chorus:--Everybody

Can't Vote Your Conscience If Ya Ain't Got One,
not if you worship at The Altar of the Gun.
You're bought and paid for by NRA.
Yeah, gun control, that'll be the day!

Verse:

You can stack the dead like cord wood, ain't gonna get to me,
dollar signs and power, are the only two things I see.
I'm deaf to the wailing and crying of the victims' next of kin,
You're in for a long wait, if you think you'll ever win.

Pre-Chorus:

'La, la, la, la, la!'
I cant hear you, 'duh!'

Verse:

The will of the people doesn't mean anything to yours truly,
and all your complaints don't bother me unduly,
for I don't answer to the public, only heed the NRA's call.
Talk to the hand, because my ears won't hear you, not at all!

Repeat Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus:

Verse:

Tone-deaf to the suffering, blind to yet-another shooting.
The public's voice I'm drowning out, their nuts I am booting.
There's nothing you can do, because I'm Red-State protected.
All your anger and frustrations, they're all being deflected.

Pre-Chorus:

'Boo-hoo, there must be something I can do'
No, my friends, you're royally screwed!

Repeat Chorus:

End
