What would happen if a small group of people who lived for a seriously long time, compared to everyone else on earth? Anything that they did, or stories they told would become the stuff of legend, myth, or even more, especially if it was true.

Sophia is a young professional who has been accepted into a long term training/internship especially designed for visually impaired persons. Most of the people there are in the same situation. When she literally runs into her boss, she has a vision of his childhood. He denies this, since it would be awkward to describe the European childhood he had over 700 years ago.
Raphael is similarly awkward, but he has not had the benefit of a Family upbringing. He has gotten better at describing himself in ways that don't highlight his age. It's hard growing up for forty or fifty years though...
What happens to someone who can identify these people who live for so long? Whose friend will she be? Whose enemy?
This book would probably be rated PG-13 for poetic sexual references and plot based situational and actual violence. (It's not gratuitous. It's not.)
