He did that,
smoke rings,
made them,

Lizzy said,
opening her lips
to allow smoke to rise

and closed her lips again
and watched
as the smoke rose.

Grey and white smoke.
Rising towards the ceiling,
twirling as if magic.

He did that.
He cocky git
could do many things.

When he wanted
he could do bad things.
He did it.

Times gone;
him gone.
That time he came

and she said
o show Lizzy
how you make

smoke rings.
He did.
She laughed.

She'd laugh at anything
he did.
Her latest bit

on the side.
Her need of them.
Secrets came

and secrets kept.
Hush hush finger
to his plump lips stuff.

That card trick.
Magic she said.
Magic isn't it, Lizzy?

Not so.
Some where,
some place

the card had to go.
Lizzy made more
smokes rings.

He did
those things.
