In the city of New York, 6 paths of strangers have met.
Penelope and Adam become instant friends in medical school, in a period of a week, they already know everything about each other, well ALMOST everything because how do you really know if you know a person? Is it true that what comes easy, goes easy?
Mia, a cancer survivor, moves to New York after leaving her shocking past in Britain.
'The stars aligned for us to meet' she thought when she's reunited with her ex-boyfriend Liam, but a lot of years have already past, do they have a chance of making things right? Especially, that Liam has an almost-relationship with his friend Bella.
Bella is Noah's sister, works several jobs after her parents died to keep the food on the table for her baby and her brother Noah.
Noah is Bella's brother. He's a medical student that crossed paths with Adam, Mia and Penelope. As they introduce them to the exciting side of actually having a social life, he starts to wonder why he avoided people for so long.
A story about love, friendship, comfort zones and dreams.

Luminescence : the emission of light by a substance that has not been heated, as in fluorescence and phosphorescence.

How can that be applied to their lives?
