A shadow among others, she glides quietly, never asking questions. Her targets are always completed. No mistakes are ever made. She is unknown, a thousand different aliases, unfindable. When the past comes knocking in the form of a hit squad, it opens up a network with international ramifications that will force her to confront past decisions. Armed with her training, a net of contacts, an unshakable partner and yes, a lot of weapons, she will have to untangle a tightly woven web of intrigue.

Tick, Tock

First time I publish a book, especially a chapter based one. The initial summary should say it all. I'm at chapter 7-ish, so have plenty of material. Chapter length will vary, but between 500 to 1000 words per chapter. I'm not quite sure how often I'll update, but I'll start with once every two weeks. If the response is good, I'll update faster. Comments are greatly appreciated. I own nothing, all the brands in this story are not mine and their rights go to their respective owners. This is un-betaed, so all mistakes are mine. Read Chapter

And I'm back! Thank you to WriterAlmighty for commenting on my first chapter. Decided I would enhance this one, make it a little longer, add some different perspectives. As for a summary... well, lets just say that our assassin's return to the base isn't very smooth. As always, comments inspire me to write more quickly. I always say, I own nothing, all the brands in this story are not mine and their rights go to their respective owners. The only things which are mine are the mistakes, as this is unbeta'ed. A few questions

Submitted: August 17, 2016

We're back! Ok, ok, so MAYBE, chapter two didn't get any comments. It's not like that affected me! *awkward cough* But, I'm nothing but stubburn, so I keep posting on my self-imposed, roughly maintained, schedule. Seriously though, no comments means I have no idea if you like, hate, enjoy, or detest my story. What I should change. What I should keep. So please, take the time to write two or three lines with your ideas. It is really, really, useful. Once again, I own nothing, all the brands in this story are not mine and their rights go to their respective owners. This is all unbeta'ed, so all mistakes are mine. Read Chapter

Get out

A short chapter to move things along, I think it's time to get out of there. Honestly, I can't say much else, except that I own nothing, and that seriously guys, I'm going in blind here. No comments= HOW DO I KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. Anyway, enjoy. Read Chapter

Going home

I make my triumphant return, after like six months. Ah, well. To sweeten the deal, I'm putting up three chapters today! And then I might vanish again. You never know.

Following a narrow escape for our protagonist, she returns to base. Read Chapter

This is just fluff, a breather post-"I just tortured someone and found out there's a bounty on my head" domestic moment
Meet Ash! I have lots of fun writing these two contrasting characters, and trying to show the bond they have which is pretty central to their lives.
Tell me if you think it's believable or not, I''m always open to feedback!

Lives past

Figured I should give a little insight into who these people are, and why exactly they live under the same roof.

Quick note: a. I have been purposefully misleading in a small part of this chapter. You'll know which one once you read it. b. There is a Mass Effect reference in this chapter. I am a nerd. Whoever
can guess it gets the next chapter early.

Also, my text keeps showing up orange, and I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas? Comments welcome!
