The Number Science or what is commonly known as Numerology is considered occult or baseless by many people. I will try to throw some light on this largely misunderstood and totally misrepresented subject.

Starting from a macro level, the observable universe is a fascinating sight if we view it as an image. Its beauty however enhances manifold when we see our galaxy, the milky way in real-time as a moving object and comparing our miniaturized planet to an incredibly colossal arrangement of mammoth celestial bodies out there. If we however see it as a cluster of countless galaxies then the beauty assumes the shape of mystery and the dismal feeling of being super-tiny and meaningless overcomes until we realize that we are unique. The deeper we go, more mysterious it all becomes till the time our mental faculties come to a sudden roadblock and we give up.

Despite the fact that whatever surrounds us becomes incomprehensible at some point as we probe it deeper and deeper. There is one apparent observation that the entire arrangement is a system consisting of countless subsystems which are interdependent and interrelated. Another observation is that there are rules that apply universally regardless of time and space barriers.

Irrespective of the size and extent of the known and unknown space, one can safely assume that it is a system based on clearly defined physical laws. A system is a set of connected parts that form a whole or principles and procedures designed to achieve desired objectives or a scheme created by someone who not only initiates it from scratch or redesigns as an improvement of an existing model but also monitors and maintains it. The entire system functions within clearly defined sets of rules.

The assumption that the architect of the system has not abandoned it is evident from the fact that distortions are periodically corrected and adjusted to the best fit else the system would have collapsed if it is not being actively monitored and maintained. The assumption that the system has evolved out of nothing does not make any sense in presence of universally applicable laws and a flawless order that we witness in the universe.

The above noted assumption raises some questions and also suggests further assumptions. One, there has to be a purpose for creating any system. Two, there must be an extremely sophisticated program which has been written to run such a complex system. The former is not the subject of this article while the latter is, the program.

Things can either be categorized as hardware or software. A program is written in a language and the language that applies universally comprises numbers from 1 to 9. The numbers do not change and denote different values and meanings when arranged in a specific order. The program or the software manages and controls the hardware and both are the essential elements required to run the system.

If the assumption is valid then there is a further level required to expand the thought process and that is to assume that it is a simulated environment and we, the most conscious of all species do have liberty to not only comprehend but also control some of the variables. If the numbers are universal but alphabets are not then the arrangement of the alphabets does effectively represents the numbers and their corresponding values and are one and the same thing. That when expanded further implies that we have the privilege to write simple programs like naming people and entities etc. The alphabets are numbers and numbers have meaning, when arranged in a specific order, they translate into programs that run the particular subsystems or some parts of it. Every entity within one large system is part or the subsystem and is subject to same rules and laws that apply to the entire system.

The concept that we are living in a simulation is not a far-fetched idea. There are many articles and books written and many movies based on this concept. ‘The Matrix’ and 'The Thirteenth Floor' are such iconic examples. When you name your baby or your business or your movie or choose a residence or a business name, brand or place etc., you are basically writing a simple program that defines the path for that person or entity. If you write it well then you have an edge (You still have to work hard and follow the general principles though!!). It is like a track that you choose to travel on. Don’t let your biases or misconceptions deprive you from selecting the right path, the appropriate road to take you from point A to point B.

I am at least convinced that there are clear patterns and clues after tens of thousands of readings and calculations i performed and learned that we can write simple programs. In other words, we can name something right or more appropriately we can choose the right path and avoid the wrong ones.

The conventional understanding of numbers or numerology stems from the belief that it is mystic or occult while I believe that it is the language which has been used to write a very complex program. The academia needs to give it some serious thought. There were some attempts where some groups analyzed the validity of the concept but to me it seems like they jumped to quick conclusions without giving it a comprehensive opportunity and declared it baseless rather hastily.

If patterns become clear and firm over time then they must not be ignored. They carry messages and perhaps clues to look outward and learn where we came from, why were we sent here and what does all that is around us really mean. We may not solve the mystery but we can at least learn from it by monitoring, recording and analyzing the clues emerging in the form of patterns.

Remember, believing in numbers is not superstition as some may think but not believing in numbers shows lack of understanding and ignoring clear patterns that may denote underlying mathematical structures and functions, something deep and mysterious which we are unable to clearly discern at this point.

Cheers!
