There once was a man so egotistical,
and his support was completely inexplicable--

that he thought he was qualified for the job
of commander of us all--and the delusional mob

he had supporting him was totally unbelievable.
It seemed he could say anything--it was inconceivable,

but they didn't seem to care, they bought his lies,
sight unseen--and he was the opposite of wise.

They didn't want to hear--they were in some kind of trance.
And he claimed to be an expert on money and finance,

and, I know it means nothing, but lord, that hair!
He just filed for bankruptcy--he wouldn't fight fair.

If you weren't cutthroat, and played by the rules, you were a loser,
and he belittled and ridiculed his many accusers,

like an immature kid in fifth grade would.
I've tried to understand, and would if I could.

It was dog-eat-dog, and if you took it in the shorts,
his demonic face he scowled and did contort.

I mean, he looked--if their is such a thing,
like the Anti-Christ--of terrifying, he was the king.

Had no understanding, or desire to, of the facts.
I wonder what took the place of the compassion he lacked?
