kilig means when you feel butterflies in your stomach. In this poem I describe brief moments between lovers that create those fluttering sensations.

Kilig

When you feel butterflies in your stomach

He looked your way and smiled. He grabs your hand, pulls you closer and holds you while you sway in his arms. Caresses the skin on your back giving you goose bumps down your arms.

Putting his hands on your face pulling you in for the kiss. A kiss that makes you melt at the pure feeling.

The way he makes you blush when at your worst he still sits and admires you as if it was the first time he ever laid eyes on you.

These small moments can create an entire life of happiness.
