Chapter 41

"I'm excited to have a wedding to plan." Delilah wiggled slightly then decided against it.

Everything she did exhausted her and made her feel huge.

She was sitting on the couch in her condo with her feet up on pillows. She was ready to go into labor at any moment.

Daniel said he was going to have his phone on for whenever she needed to call him. Personally she wished he was there every day.

"I'm going to need help finding a wedding gown, caterer, someone to tell my dad and decorating ideas. All simple."

"Don't try to be so casual. I heard you. When are you telling uncle Lucifer? I know for a fact that all you need help with is finding a wedding gown. Kerim already told me the gossip of how he's going to deal with everything. All you did was chose the location. The island was the best place possible."

"Thanks and I don't know when I'm telling my dad. I told him that I was never going to marry Kerim and here I am, getting it planned."

"It won't be that bad." Delilah lied.

"It's going to be horrible but I have to do it."

"Do you think he's going to yell as much as he did when he saw your tattoo? Or more like the time he found out you were with Kerim again?"

"Thanks for the encouragement." Juliet sighed. "I'll do it later."

She flipped through the magazine again.

"We should go to the store where Katherine found her gown. I should be able to find something there."

"You should. That was like the queen bee of wedding gowns. Are you going to go with an island type of wedding gown."

"Yes, something flowy but not princess like."

"Okay so something less. How about mermaid?"

"I don't have much curves. I would not be able to pull one of those off."

"Fine. Any color?"

"Just traditional white."

"My goodness, this is going to be small and simple then."

"It is. Kerim agrees since he doesn't have much friends."

"For when is it going to be?"

"What?! That's less than three months away."

"How are you going to get everything ready?"

"From here of course. Since it's only going to be family it should be easy to get everything ready."

"I'm going to have a pair of new born twins by then."

"They should be two months old."

"Still babies but I guess I can deal with it. I'm still excited for you and we're definitely going to have to find your perfect gown soon."

"Do you prefer to look for one while you're pregnant or after?"

"Before. I don't think I'm going to leave my home with the babies until your wedding."

"Sounds like a plan, now help me look through these magazines. Since Katherine isn't here you're the only one that can help me for now."

"I wonder how she's doing on her honeymoon."

"Spending it in bed I imagine. The chemistry between them is great apparently."

"How can it not, Dominik is incredibly hot."

"He is good looking but I much prefer Kerim's dark looks."

"They are both dark haired."

"I didn't mean literal colors."

Delilah giggled. "I know." She wiggled her toes as she looked through a magazine. "Are you going to have Precious do a part in the wedding? Is she going to be like your ring bearer or something?"

"I don't know. She's old enough to behave but I'm not sure how she's going to react to actually trying to do something in an audience."

"You could have her sitting still with your mom and dad."

"I'll probably do that. She's going to enjoy the island. There's so much free territory for her to run around."

"I can't wait. I miss our yearly trip to the island."

"Me too. Last year we missed it because we were all doing our own thing but this year it's going to be early."

"Speaking of which, where are you going for your honeymoon?"

"Kerim wants to take me to Prague."

"Ooh nice. You tell me how it is and I'll see if I want to go in a few years."

"A few years?"

"Well yeah, with twins it's going to be difficult. I have to wait until they're old enough for family trips."

"My, my. I can't imagine you going to Disneyworld or family places like that." Juliet teased. "You better send me pictures of Daniel wearing Mickey ears."

"I will whenever we go. My life is going to completely change."

"For the better."

"Yes, hopefully."

"Do you want something to eat? I'm getting bored and hungry."

"Don't tell me. You're going to order chinese with extra egg rolls."

"You know me too well."

"While you're at it order some of those sugary rolls they have. You know what I'm talking about right?"

"The fried dough they have with sugar?"

Juliet called the chinese place and made an order. They kept looking through the magazines while they waited for the chinese food.

Kerim showed up with cakes from the coffee shop he and Delilah used to go to.

"Thank you very much. I'm going to have dessert before dinner."

"Is that wise?" He arched his brow.

"Yes, I could go into labor during dinner and never get a chance to eat this. I'd much rather have them first."

He chuckled and sat down on the love seat.

Delilah ate her cakes contently.

"You were looking through dresses?" He asked Juliet, picking up a magazine.

"I'm sure that whatever you chose you're going to look lovely in."

"Thanks for the compliment."

"I'm anxious."

"About what?"

"Getting married and you becoming my wife." He grinned.

She glanced up at him. "I can't wait either."

"Aww, you guys are so cute. Daniel and I used to be like that."

"You still are."

"I know and that's why I told you so you'd compliment me." Delilah giggled.

Juliet rolled her eyes but laughed too.

The food arrived and they had just started to eat when Daniel got there. He sat down and served himself a plate.

"What have you girls been doing today?"

"Lazying around." Delilah smiled at him.

"Juliet, you're contageous." Daniel joked.

"It's not my fault your wife can't do anything while she's this pregnant. Although yes, I do enjoy that we don't do anything."

"How have you been feeling babe?"

"Tired, bored." Delilah sighed. "Can't wait to be able to walk around and actually do things."

"It's only a matter of time."

They finished eating and picked up.

"We're going to go." Juliet told them as Daniel helped Delilah settle on the couch.

"Thanks for spending the day with me. I appreciated it."

"You're welcome." Juliet gave her a hug. "Call me if you go into labor tonight. I'll come see you tomorrow."

"We'll call." Daniel assured.

Kerim said his goodbyes and they were out the door. He took her hand and laced their fingers together.

"Do you want to go home?"

"Is there some other place you want to take me?" She smiled up at him.

"We could go see a late night feature at the movies or walk around in the city."

"A movie does sound nice but I would much rather be in bed with you. I am a nymphomaniac, remember?"

He chuckled.

They got in the truck and headed home. There Juliet got a movie from his collection.

She purposefully didn't show him which one as she pushed play. She took off her clothes and got in bed with him.

"Wanting to relive old memories?" He grinned as she nuzzled his neck and The Phantom of the Opera started playing.

He tightened his hold on her and they watched the movie.
