Chapter 45

Epilogue: 5 years later...

"Years later and you still can't cook." Delilah teased Kerim. He had yet again burned another marshmallow in the fire.

They were at the island on their yearly summer vacation. Everyone chuckled.

Katherine held her five month belly. "You're going to make me pee. I've told you I can't laugh. For some reason I've had that problem transfered from my first pregnancy."

"That's what you get for getting pregnant two months after having Cheyenne."

"We wanted a to have a bigger family just didn't think it would be this fast and another girl."

"I don't care that it's another girl. I'm going to be happy to spoil my princesses." Dom smiled as he pulled his seven month old daughter's hand away from her mouth.

Juliet shook her head. It was fun to watch Dom making baby noises to Cheyenne. His daughter loved it as she smiled brightly.

Bethany and Lincoln came running with Maleah in tow.

Kerim grinned as he watched them get near. Maleah jumped into his awaiting arms.

"Hello princess. What were you doing?" Kerim kissed her on the cheek. Her asian features were evident but she never questioned why she didn't look like them.

Juliet and him had wanted a baby and had decided on adopting. They had fallen in love with a one year old Maleah three years ago. Everything had gone through and she was theirs after a few months.

"I was playing with Link and Beth." He smiled at the nicknames she gave them. "We're going to make castles."

"Alright, you go do that." He kissed her once more and let her go.

She skipped to the twins and sat on the sand. Juliet leaned her head on his arm. She loved how great of a father he was. It only made her love him more.

"Where's Precious? I thought she was with them." She asked him.

"She's probably digging Lucifer's grave again."

"Kerim!" She leaned away and punched him on the arm. "That is my father."

He chuckled. "I'm telling you that Precious has never liked him because he doesn't like me. Every year that we come she makes a hole that's big enough for him."

"She does do that but it doesn't mean it's for my dad." She giggled. "Besides, dad likes you a bit more since we adopted Maleah. You're her father and she has him wrapped around her little finger."

"Hey guys, I see you started making s'mores without us." Avery and Ethan joined them.

"Of course we started, we were hungry." Daniel bit into one.

"What were you guys doing?" Katherine asked.

"We were walking around the island, thinking of how to tell you guys something." Avery looked at Ethan. He had a big smile on his face.

"Ooh sounds ominous." Delilah giggled.

"Ethan and I decided on starting a family."

"That's great news." Katherine gushed. "I can't wait until you're pregnant. I just hope that it happens while I still am."

"Then I guess you're going to be even happier. We talked about it a couple months ago and we just found out that I'm pregnant."

There was a chorus of excited shrieks from the girls. Congratulations were said all around.

"I think it's about time. You guys have been married for nearly four years." Daniel patted Ethan on the back.

"Well we were concentrated on my bakery and Ethan was still in college. I think he can get through medical school while becoming a father." Avery explained. "Besides Ann will take care of most of the work while I go through this. She knows I did my fair share of work while she was busy with the surrogate."

"Ann and Jannette are the perfect mommies for little Tricia. You are right though, she'll gladly help while you're pregnant." Katherine agreed. "How's Adam doing in Spain? I know he wanted to expand his culinary experience."

"That guy is whipped already." Ethan shook his head amused. "He said he's going to come back married to some woman he met. I swear I don't know why I'm friends with him."

"Because you're both the same. You fall in love with good women." Avery grinned. "And you actually care about women's feelings."

He kissed her on the forehead. "I do care, especially about you."

Delilah sighed. "Everything has been so great."

"It has been." Dom agreed. "We have kids and we're all happy."

They all looked over at Lincoln, Bethany and Maleah playing in the sand. Lincoln teased Maleah by pulling a small strand of loose hair.

She swatted him giggling.

"Oh great, another Delilah and Daniel." Juliet laughed.

"Please tell me they're not going to end up like them. It's too early for me to start worrying about boys." Kerim smiled.

"Don't be a bad sport Kerim. We would be terrific in laws." Delilah grinned as she stared at her kids.

"Don't worry about it. Let's just raise her right. If they fall in love then great, if not, great too." Juliet kissed him on the cheek.

"Fine but I'm still keeping a close eye on him."

"Whatever you want."

He kissed her gently. He loved her as much as he did years ago, if not more. "I love you Juliet Moreau." He mumbled against her lips.

She leaned slightly away and caressed his face. She regretted nothing only not marrying him sooner. These years with him had been amazing.

Just like Delilah said, everything was great. Their lives were perfect as they got to experience it with the person they loved.

Juliet stared deep into his eyes.

"As I love you, Kerim Moreau."
