At a fearful pace she
Flew with all the haste that
She could summon to move
Her forth through the forest.

The great chase she led, though,
Would be to no avail.
And so a tune mourns through
A lock of severed reeds.

The music of a god
Sighs with the knowledge of
The beauty and sadness
That trumpet in its sound.
