I bet my money

On a cube with six faces

I really should stop

Going to these sort of places

I'm hooked

I'm all booked

I act without thinking

My money is sinking

Into an ocean of lies

And broken ties

Perhaps if I cross my fingers

No that won't work

I've tried it before

He has this slight smirk

I can't give him the satisfaction

It'll only be a tiny fraction

And now my money's all gone
