How shallow are we, if we become friends with those who are of a certain class? If we only become friends with those who are Hetrosexual? If we only accept those we wish to accept? If we only become friends with those who have lots of money and live in big fancy houses? None of these should ever matter. We should accept people regardless of who they are. At the end of the day, they are still people. They are as much of a human being as you or I, with dreams and passions and a heart and a soul who deserve love just like everyone else on this earth. Let us be kind and appreciate everybody's uniqueness.

I care not my friend for the clothes you wear,

I care not whether they be expensive or cheap,

To me clothes are clothes and nothing more,

Regardless of whether they're bought from Prada, or found in charity bins on the streets.

I care not my friend for the car you drive,

I care not whether it be a Ford or a Bentley,

To me a car is simply a machine,

One to get us from point A to point B.

I care not my friend for the size of your house,

I care not whether it be a palace or a trailer,

To me a home is a home regardless of what it may be,

The size of your home, does not determine you a success or a failure.

I care not my friend for the religion you follow,

I care not what God or Spirit you obey,

To me it doesn't matter, none of that does,

You are free to follow what you believe, regardless of what others say.

I care not my friend for your sexual preference,

I care not that you are gay, transsexual, lesbian or bi,

You are who you are and no-one has the right to change you,

So what if you're a girl who likes girls, or a guy who likes guys.

I care not my friend for your way of life,

I care not for the kind of life you live,

For you are free to live it how you see fit,

Whether you choose a life of luxury or a life of thrift.

I do care my friend that you are kind,

I care that you show no hatred towards another,

For this world doesn't need more hate,

It needs more love towards our fellow sister and brother.

I care that you are respectful of others,

That they are accepted whoever they be,

For it is not what's on the outside,

But what is on the inside you see.

I care that you allow people to be,

No matter what their differences may be,

For they are what make us all unique,

Everyone deserves to love, to live, to be happy and to laugh.

But the thing I care for the most my friend,

Out of everything else in this life,

Is that you have a heart that never hardens,

Be it love and acceptance for which you always strive.
