The temperature is rapidly dropping,

As snowflakes began falling from the sky,

And everyone rushes to the mall for christmas shopping,

The kids run to play in the snow, with a war cry.

Smokestacks rise into the overcast night,

As everyone hides inside to keep warm,

I’m bathed in the ultraviolet light,

The snow looks just like an art form.

The sunsets always look the best,

When everything is covered, in snow and ice.

Watching the snowfall fills my heart with zest,

Cause you never, experience the same winter twice.

I love it when the night comes early,

Because I was never a fan of the sun.

I’ll move to a place where it always snows, surely,

That’s a place where I know, I’d have the most fun.

I mean, how could you not like it when

You wake up to see that school’s out,

Cause of the snow, and all the kids shout amen.

Those are still my favorite days, without a doubt.

The sunsets always look the best,

When everything is covered, in snow and ice.

Watching the snowfall fills my heart with zest,

Cause you never, experience the same winter twice
