Written for a homework assignment on imagery but I may possibly develop it further. Don't you wish you could close your eyes for a moment and feel wind rushing through you as you ride upon a unicorn?

I could feel the coarse, thick hair of the glittering white unicorn, whose back I sat upon. As we rode, the cool Autumn air stung my face, and turned my cheeks to a rosy red color. The full moon glittered far above us, lighting our path through the woods. We emerged into an apple orchard. I inhaled the sweet scent of the red fruit. I dismounted the beautiful unicorn and patted her head near the silver spiraling horn. I carefully climbed the small tree until I got to the top. I plucked the highest apple. I wiped it off on my shirt and chomped into it with a loud crack. The sweet juices flooded my mouth. I was about to pick another one for my magical partner below, when the rustling of leaves stopped me. I looked in the direction of the sound. Piercing blue eyes met mine.
