Soft, powdery snow fell from the sky and lightly covered the grass. The fresh smell of the snow-dusted pine trees was fresh and crisp. I went back inside to escape the cold air. I pulled the heavy, wooden rocking chair over to the window. I made a made a steaming cup of hot chocolate and poured myself a steaming cup. I wrapped a warm, hand-made quilt around myself as I sat in the large chair. I rocked back and forth, admiring the beauty of the dazzling, sparkling whiteness outside. The warm air quickly melted the snow out of my white-powdered hair. My red nose eventually regained its natural color. I took the a sip of the warm, chocolaty cocoa. The rhythmic rocking sound of the chair seemed louder within the almost empty house.
