Everyday I paint a picture I painted, The tears fall unintended. I watched the snow fall and never felt it. The loud noises inside you I never heard them.

I kept my door closed for your protection. You smiled with joy at my presence. Reaching out in the dark, I wanted more. No one told me that gold could be so warm.

I made you look the other way, I'm sorry. My heart was in the wrong place, I'm sorry. I'm stuck in a moment you obviously forgot, I'm sorry. You bled to ease the pain, I'm sorry.

I think I dug a hole in the sky, The air I breathe is not as fine. The thought of you breaks me, The thought of you makes me.

Everyday I paint a picture I painted, The tears fall unintended. I watched the snow fall and never felt it. The loud noises inside you I never heard them.
