Why is there sugar on the table daddy?

Daddy?

Why are you lying in the sugar daddy?

Daddy?

Daddy?

Answer me!

Stop being mean daddy!

I'll tell mummy!

She turned around and pushed open the creaking door. She stared into the dark room.

Mummy?

It's so dark.

She reached out her arm to the light switch and flicked upwards. The mint room was illuminated with a flurry of white light.

Mummy! You didn't tell me we had a climbing rope!

Mummy get down! Let me try!

Mummy?

Fine, I'll get you down myself.

She walked over to the oak chair that was just inches away from the woman's dangling legs. She put out her hands and pushed the woman's face out of the loop. She fell, and there was a... Crack.

Mummy?

A-are you okay?

She peered out of the creaky door behind her.

Daddy?

You should clean up that sugar before mummy sees it. She'll be very cross!

Daddy!!

Please, answer me!!

She took a step backwards and tripped over the woman's body.

Mummy!!!

MUMMY!!!

She shrieked. She shrieked and cried until the tears stopped. And red tears came streaming out of her mouth. She closed her eyes.

Gah!!

She awoke to a rope noose around her neck and her legs a foot off the floor.

Ugh!

Please.. I don't.. Want.... To end.. up like- like... Them.

She kicked her legs relentlessly and held her throat.

She started to lose consciousness, to lose faith and sanity. Until... the front door slammed shut.

Why is there sugar on the table daddy?
