I don't know where you've gone,

Every time I've called,

The phone just rung,

This sounds like a song,

That's already been sung.

Are you there,

I need to talk,

My mind is anxious,

My legs can barely walk.

My eyes they peak,

The talk with their tears,

Not seeing you,

Makes them speak a thousand words.

Did I do something wrong,

Please tell me if I did,

Cause not hearing your voice,

Makes my soul feel dead.

I sit here,

With a handful of tears,

I look for the people I hold dear,

But I am blind.

Where have you gone,

The days are too long,

The nights even longer,

I wander around confused.

Midnight comes fast,

It leaves too slow,

The night at last,

Begins to grow.

I miss your voice,

The beauty of your laugh,

The sparkle of your eyes,

And the feel of your hand in mine.

I don't need a fancy car,

My own two feet will do,

I have a lot of wants in this world,

But all I need is you.
