Nightmare or reality?

The day I was waiting for is finally here! I can't believe it is actually happening. I am going to compete at the Gymnastics championship. My parents always told me that dreams come true, but that you also need to put some effort if you want it to happen. No pain, no gain, I guess. The championship is in London, so I will get a chance to leave Liverpool for a while. I managed to finish packing without forgetting anything. I said my goodbyes with everyone and went to the car to put my suitcase in. My team was already at the airport, but i still had time to make it on time for the plane. Mom and dad were also coming to London, but they weren't ready yet, so they called me a taxi. When taxi came, I said my goodbyes once again. „Good luck“, „You go win that!“, „We are cheering for you!“ were the words I heard while leaving home. While driving I hoped i wouldn't fall asleep. There was an hour left until we would come to the airport. I hate sleeping.. I know it might sound weird or funny, but it is the truth. Each night when i fall asleep I have the same dream which is more of a nightmare. In the nightmare I didn't know who my friends or family are and I couldn't remember anything or anyone. Ohh..Just thinking about it gives me chills. We made it to the highway, so I was half way there. In that moment a truck infront of us stopped and we crashed into it. Everything was pitch black and I couldn't hear any voices. Suddenly I opened my eyes and a lot of people were around me, but i didn't know anyone. I asked them if they could call my parents, because I didn't want to be late for the plane. Doctor came closer and explained to me that I have been in a coma for two weeks and that all these people around me are my friends and family. I couldn't stop myself from crying. The tears started coming down my face like waterfalls. Everyone left the room, so I could get some rest. But I couldn't rest, I mean who could? I just found out that i have no idea who I am , who my family is. I could only remember little things that happed right before the accident. One of those little things that i remember is also my nightmare which became a reality for me. Suddenly, the door opened. „It is me Emily, your mother.“I froze and kept staring at her. „Hello“ I finally said. „We thought we lost you Emily, we thought we wouldn't hear your voice again. „I am really sorry, but I don't know who you are.“ I answered. She kissed me on my forehead and left the room in tears. She was just another stranger to me, but I couldn't stop wondering if that person really was my mom. Every day for few months she would come to the hospital and tell me all kinds of stories. She would tell me about my friends and family, about my school, about my dreams and hopes about the future. She hoped that it would help me get my memories back, but it only gave me ideas about my life. Some days I wished that I could be in school, crazy ha? Well I guess when you are in a hospital for a long time you become a bit crazy. After few months they let me go home in hope I would regain my memories. I was excited to finally see everything that my mother told me. When we arrived I was so happy. I left the car and ran infront of the house. I couldn't believe that was my home. I looked around the house and talked to my family that made me a „get well“ party. After a few days I started putting the missing pieces together. On Monday I hoped to see my friends, but I got a fever. However they all came to my house and told me all kinds of stories, the happy and the sad. During the night my fever got higher. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. The pieces came together, the puzzle was completed. In the morning when I opened my eyes I saw my mom and told her : „I remember“ and then everything turned black. „Emily??? Help!! Help!!! Call 911!!! The ambulance came. „She will be okay, right doctor??“ „I am sorry“ He answered.
