A farmer went to the doctor complaining of severe back pain. The Doc examined him and told him to have bed rest for two days. After the third day, the wife of the farmer came to see the doctor informing him that her husband is serious.

The Doc, puzzled, went to her house and examined the patient, who was howling with pain.

“Did you go for farming work for the last two days?” The Doc enquired.

“Yes” said the farmer.

“You Fool, I told you to take bed rest. Why did you go for work?”

“See, doctor, the bed which I sleep is at rest. I slept on the floor,” answered the bewildered farmer.
