A crowd had gathered by the time, the police came upon the murder scene. After interacting with the neighbours, John the cop found out that the person who committed suicide was Martin, a businessman.

“Mrs Martin,” said Inspector John, “The neighbours have heard you threatening your husband. You must be the cause he hanged himself from the ceiling fan.”

“Neighbours can say anything, cop,” smiled Elizabeth wryly. “Do you have proof?”

John knew that he had no answer. “It is only a matter of time that truth wins; then I will arrest you.” The cop punched his hand in the air and made his exit.

Elizabeth locked the door and her boyfriend, Tom came out of his hiding place.

“Lizzy, Martin died as a result of our torture. Do you think that this cop can dig up the evidence?”

“Honey,” answered Mrs Martin with a smile. ‘Within a week, we are going to transfer all the cash to your account and then we will escape.”

There was a knock at the door.

Tom disappeared to his old hiding place.

When Mrs Martin opened the door, John was smiling. Along with him were two female cops with handcuffs.

“Sorry to disturb you, Mrs Martin. But can you kindly turn your gaze towards the window?”

Elizabeth turned in the same direction and her heart took a beating.

Hovering outside the window was the no-noise police drone silently recording the events happening in the room.
