Your body floods with a feeling you may find nowhere else

You know it's toxic,

Makes you crazy,

But you need it just the same

You're addicted to the rush-

Of being high

From the very same thing that makes you feel so low

Your heart swells

And your breath evens

In its presence

But breaks

Becomes neurotic

In its absebce

You fear the imminent withdrawl

To be alone

Just yourself and sober thoughts
