"When you make a wish on a falling star," we've all been told. "It comes true."

Sure, everyone loved fairytales and fantasy at some point when they were little. It's not so incredibly strange. Of course, we all grow out of it eventually. By the time we truly need that sense of fantasy, though, we've outgrown it.

Maybe it was that missing sense of whimsy that compelled me to do it. Maybe it was hope that it was all real. Maybe I was just desperate and tired and quickly running out of options. It doesn't really matter now, does it?

Whatever happened that made me wish those horrible girls that hurt me were dead, it didn't fail in it's mission. I saw the silver streak in the sky through my window and I did it. I wished for them to be dead.

Then, they were.

Four girls, each found dead the next morning under the same strange circumstances.

Four girls, each previously my tormentors, were gone.

Four girls, each killed by that one, simple wish.

One wish that I made did it all.

I don't know how I know that my wish did it, but I know. I killed those girls because I'd hoped that they'd die.

And now I'm going to pay for it.

Be careful what you wish for, right?
