So one day I’m just chilling at home playing pokemon go, catching random pidgeys in my bedroom. It was a quiet day, well quietish the only sound I was aware of was the occasional sounds of my ice maker. I was on my 27th pidgey when I heard the doorbell ring, didn’t want to get up but my phone froze so I figured I might as well go check. When I got to the door I looked out the peephole and there was no one there so I opened up. There on the welcome mat was a black box probably measuring 1x1x1. I looked around thinking maybe the UPS man forgot to get my signature so I checked the box and there was no info on it. I couldn’t remember if I had ordered anything but I wouldn’t put it by myself, I have a problem. I once order 16 sets of silverware, and I don’t even use them! I use plastic spoons and paper plates because I’m a lazy bum and hate dishes. Anyway I grabbed the box and brought it to my kitchen table opening it as cautious as I could. When I got it opened, to my surprise there was a small brown egg. Obviously my first thought after 8 hours of gaming was that I had just received a pokemon egg from the developers for my dedication and superior performance as a trainer. Don’t judge me I’m a hard core fan. The problem was I could not for the life of me determine which pokemon that egg belonged too so I did what any responsible parent does. I got a warm towel and wrapped the egg to incubate it. I must have sat there for 6 hours pacing back and forth, and listening to the pokemon theme song. After the 80th “Gotta catch them all” The suspense murdered my consciousness so I ran to the kitchen grabbed the egg and slammed it on the floor. Turns out it was a regular chicken egg, and I finally noticed the note in the box. My friends had seen my snapchat story of my catching pokemon and decided to prank me.
