tttttttttrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.................
Khushi-papa uttho  5 bajgaaya papa
me- Haann beta  uth gaya mein
and i am off to the bathroom. After all my morning rituals I am all set for next adventure, adventure of managing traffic, Yes I am a traffic police my name is Ramesh Jena  working as a traffic police for more then 6 years in my home town Rourkela.
Huzaifa-Good morning Jena babu
me- good morning good morning ...
Huzaifa- yaar kaal kaa party ka mutton kya bana ttha yaar maja aagayaa , Pradhan babu nne tto mast party diyaa ttha
me- aarey puchiyaa maat aap kaal ka party yaadgaar rahega, ramesh tto itna ppe diya ttha ki Pradhan babu ki biwi ko bollta hai , TUMKO BOLLA TTHA BO RED SAREE PEHENN KE LIYYE, YYE GREEN MEIN PURA TOTTA LAG RE HOO  and we both laughed
me -challo bhai humara duty ka time hogaya hai hum chall tte hainHuzaifa-challo aapko aaj kaam traffic millle yye hum duaa karte hain me- aap daily yye bolte ho parr kabhi traffic kamm tto nahi badhi jarur hai
we both laughed along and I went to my post . Huzaifa and I joined traffic police together and he is been my best friend since the day of our joining .
So life goes on as it do everyday, same honking , same people crossing the road without following traffic signals but in all that I saw a small girl around 6-7 yrs old i guess in blue jeans and a yellow top standing in the divider of the road with a water bottle in one hand and other hand busy in waving bye byes to all the vehicles that pass by her I didn't minded her for a moment . after few hours of her bye byes she came down frm the divider and went off . It was a lil bit strange  for me coz afterwards when i thinked about it and i felt "why would a girl come over to road and wave bye byes to all wid a cute smile in her face in this scorching heat ? " well there are other things to whom i should pay attention like traffic  BILLS........aarghhhhhh bills didnt stop coming to me ,  electricity bill, water bill, aadrak  bill , lehsunn bill............ but still I hv to accpt it coz this is life now a days. I slept that day thinking over  and over about that girl didnt know why but she is somewhere in my head pinging all my brains recptors .
New day new adventure but there is one thing common the Girl from that other day she is there again, she always look like an angel to me cute beautiful and so adorable, drenched all in sweat but still she continues her bye byes i wonder why? why would she do such things all by her own not even  her mom was there i guess coz after 1 hour she went off by her own and this continued for more then a week now .  Now I am curious about her, curious like a child who got a new toy and want to know what's inside that toy and there she goes  off again by her own to some place unknown.  So I decided to go to her and ask her about all this next time .

I got up early and dressed up quickly so that i wouldnt miss her . Reached the traffic post and saw her standing there , cars , buses buzzing away by her side So I asked Huzaifa to take over my place for a few minutes and after that I go near her
"BETA aap idhaar kya kar re hoo" and in reply she just smiles I again asked "aapke mummy papa kahaan hai"  and she smiles again  Strange.............  but still her smle is so lively and beautiful that you will forget all your worries seeing that cute beautiful smile, but I am worried about her so I waited her to leave. Few minutes after she walked off from that spot to a street nearby I followed her  and she stopped near a red house "Tammanna "  and from inside a lady opened the door for the girl and she go inside . I am relieved seeing  her home and to clear my doubts like " Why she comes every morning and do that thing ? " and answer to that  is behind those blue gates.
me- Knock knock...........
Lady -Haan jji boliye
me-Ji abhi jo ladki aayi bo aapki kya lagtti hai
lady-Bo meri beti hai, kyun kya hua ushne kuch kiya hai kya sir
me- naahi naahi ushnne kuch nahi kiya hai bo  buss mein puch raha ttha aeshe he, actually aapki beti pichle 1 haftte sse uditnagar traffic post ke pass aake sabko bye bye karr re hai sab  aati jaati  traffic ko, kya aap baata sakte hain ki wo aisha kyun kar re hai ?
she request me to come inside the home ,offered me tea and some mariegold biscuits
taking a sip I asked - aapki beti ka naam kya hai
lady-Aaiza
me- bahutt aacha naam hai
lady-waise aapki tareef
me- Ji mera naam Ramesh Jena hai mein traffic police hun, aur aap ka naam
Lady- Saina
Saina- aap Azu ko harr rojj  dekh tte ho wahaan traffic chowk ppe
me-  haan aagley 1 hafte sse har rojj bo 1 ghante ke liyye wahaan khadi rehetti hai aur aate jaate  traffic ko bye bye kartti rehetti hai
and  Saina's  eyes  are flooded with tears in the same moment, I asked her why are you crying she replied with a crying voice
Saina-  Maaf kijiyegaa bo halaat he kuch aaishe hain ki mein kya bataaun(crying continues........)

She wiped  her face with her hand recollected herself , Aaiza sat beside her holding her hand and started eating those mariegolds biscuits offered to me. She then explains me why Aaiza is going over the chowk and do all those bye byes , Aaiza's father Akim Khan is a CRPF soldier stationed in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, Akim has been a soldier for more than 5 years he is a great soldier and a great father , he loved her daughter  very much , whenever he comes home he brings her new dress  and Aaiza and her father are like best friends all the time she remains with her father she will sing a song for her father dance with him on " dj walle babu " song . 23rd February 2016 Akim comes to home and after 2 days he got a call from the headquarters  , he was instructed to come immediately  to the base , in hurry he left quickly and that day Aaiza was in school  , when she returned home and didn't found her Aabu  around she asked her Aami
Aaiza- Aabu kahan hai , icecream lenne gaye hain kyaa
Saina-nahi beta aabu kaam ppe challe gaye beta, unko  jaana paada

listening to that she cried so loud that everyone gatherd infront of her home but anyhow her mom kept her calm. After 1 week a phone call came  to her on the other side of the phone is the Commanding Officer of Akim  he said to her that
CO- Mam I am sorry to say that Lance Corporal Akim Khan died in combat on 10th March 2016, he is a great soldier mam and he is a real son of Mother India
hearing this she fainted over , neighbours come to her aid as they here Aaiza screaming to her mom to wake up.  Akim's body arrived after 3 days to her home Saina was stoned like a statue , Aaiza tried to wake her father but he won't wake up she danced in front of her singing the song but still he won't respond all her tries are a failure because her beloved father has gone away forever, her aunt's tried to make Aaiza understand that he is dead and is not coming back and in reply she said "Naahi unko aana padegaa bo ... bo mere liyye dress layenge mene unko bye bye b  nahi kiyaa ttha , uko bullaao humlog ice cream khayenge dance karenge " and she starts crying, small pearl drops roll over her face . It's a situation which I can't describe by words , so much pain and grief it gives me chills and tears in my eyes. After the funeral  Aaiza stopped crying and became silent her mom tried to make her laugh but she won't she encouraged her to play but failed she is like a zombie now just moves here and there and one day she at once wake up in the morning and get dressed up on one of his favourite dress brought by her Aaba and grabbed her water bottle and went outside of her home , her mom asked her where you are going and in reply she just smiled and waved a bye to her and went to the chowk and started waving bye's to all passer's by, she did that because she had not said bye to her Aaba on last time so she waves  bye bye to all those passers bye thinking that someday her Aaba will cross from there and say a return bye bye to her . After hearing all this my eyes get wet , I felt so pity for that beautiful soul who slept over the sofa after eating all the Marie gold biscuits that I kissed her forehead and said Thank you to Saina for sharing all this with him.

I went to home late that day, Khushi-  papa aap itne late kaisse !
with tears in my eyes I hugged her tightly and kissed herand said  beta mein tumhare liyye naae cycle lanne gaya ttha  Khushi-  Naae cycle, mere liyyeshe screamed and she jumped around like a bunny.  I just stood there and enjoyed that moment and thanked Akim because for guys like him we are safe in our home and enjoying our beautiful moments with our loved ones but they don't get that chance often, the sacrifice they do for us for my country is not measurable and cannot be paid off , it is a lifetime debt over all Indians.
