Sleep Forever

PART 1 :-

He sat in melancholy on his bed,

staring at the wall in his dorm.

He knew that his blue blanket would soon turn red,

because inside him was a raging storm.

He realized that he was really sure

when he saw the moon hanging low

that he couldn't take it anymore

because he never let his despair show.

Inside him screamed a silent roar

and he cut himself to sleep forever.

PART 2 :-

He woke up thinking all his problems were gone

and that he had found a fix

when he heard the mourn

his mother made as tears rolled down her cheeks.

His father stood bewildered

near his lifeless body.

He realized that his father's soul had been mudered

and it was too late when he started to feel sorry

He saw his kith and kin

standing shocked at the act he had done.

He realized that he had commited a sin

and wanting to turn back time he stood stunned.

He woke up with a start to realize it was all a dream

and he promised to never do it again

because he knew how horrific it was to sleep forever.
