Well, until the infestation began.

Monday, right?
Wrong.

I was In my kitchen, browsing the fridge. My parents had left for their respective jobs about thirty minutes before.
It was then that I noticed a slight buzzing noise. I brushed it off as having forgotten to turn off the T.V. It just kept getting louder, though.
Eventually, I turned towards the trash can. This was where the noise was coming from, after all, so I might as well see what the noise was, right?
Wrong.

I opened the container, only to have my face bombarded by an onslaught of at least twenty flies.
Talk about gross.

So, I took the trash out. Upon opening the door that led to the garage, which would then lead out to the Dumpster, I saw that the entire concrete floor was wriggling. Rushing back inside, I grad then bug spray. After most of the larvae died, I use a broom and sweep them out into the driveway.

That was it, right?
Wrong.

After sweating so much in the hot summer air, I decided to take a shower. As I stood under the water, I began to feel a strange sensation under my feet. Then, I couldn't breathe.

Then, it all went dark


Earlier this week, a teenager was found dead in the shower. Although the body had shown signs of asphyxiation, it was not a drowning, but rather they suffocated on what has been identified as a series of insects…
