Every night, the door opens oh so slightly.

An eye, I see throught the gap line.

The person talks to me oh so politely,

This person, is a friend of mine.

He sometimes speaks through the crack in the door,

he tells me to do things, I otherwise wouldn't.

He doesn't tell me, what I do them for,

and no one else ever tells me I shouldn't.

I've never seen his face before,

I wonder what I would find.

If I looked, behind my closet door.

Looked, at this friend of mine.

He comes out during the day at times.

He startles me with his voice.

He gives me more orders, and sometimes,

he leaves me no choice.

I've done so much for him,

I've wasted so much time.

I've killed, and cut my limbs,

all, for this friend of mine.

I don't know why I call him a friend,

he's never done anything for me.

Yet still, I would stay with him to the end.

But, I have no choice you see?

He's always with me, stuck in my room.

His eye, peering through the gap line.

I need help, And I need it soon,

to get rid, of this friend of mine.

Not a nice friend, that's for sure. Good job with the poem.
