Away With The Wind

The forecast says there'll be a gale
But it may be getting stronger,
It might become a hurricane
If it hangs around much longer.

I make my way to stand outside,
I don't mind the rain,
I want this wind to clear away
All confusion and all pain.

My hair it whips in to my face,
My eyes are streaming tears,
But this wind, it is so cleansing
As it battles with my fears.

Some gusts, they are so violent
It's hard to hold my ground,
A struggle so familiar
When problems do abound.

The wind, it howls around me,
I laugh, throw back my head;
My arms are wide as I let go
Of all the words been said.

It's like a sort of freedom
To take on nature's force,
As it buffets I hold steady,
It won't blow me off course.

The storm, it seems, is passing
They very rarely last,
It's taking off and flying east
With the magic that it cast.
