I wrote this last year and just recently dug it up while cleaning. Figured I would let it see the light.

I remember the days when he would come

And the length he used to stay

I sank down low to dig in deep

And reduce myself to none

I’d drift my mind to calmer times

When all I received was neglect

As time went by, he realized

I’d make the perfect pet

I remember the days when he would come

She never said a word

Her skin a sagged and sickly rag

Her comfort came no more

Her bones diseased, her mind corrupted

And she hadn’t the means to go

To keep her tiny comforts close

She contently offered my love

I remember the days when he would come

I prayed it would be quick

But he enjoyed my flesh too much

And she was oh so useless

I felt the pain of a millions years

During those long moments

My mind went blank, my body ached

And my soul’s white light converted

I remember the days when he would come

For he left my essence  forever perverted
