The white flag isn't here,

In its place there is no fear,

The dark has ceased,

And the air is clear.

I journey in farther,

Not knowing what to expect,

And it seems safe,

At least for the moment.

The atmosphere feels safe,

The weight has lightened a little,

I feel less pressure,

I can now breathe with no struggle.

I've found my safe haven,

It's full of trust,

It's far from bad,

And I'm ready for help.

The imposter was my depression,

It was a monster,

But with people by my side,

I found out this imposter,

Is no stronger than me.
