Leaves turn brown,

They fall the long way down,

Until they come to a stop,

On the cold hard ground.

People are like leaves,

We come and we go,

We rise and we fall,

We live and we die.

Crunch the dead leaves go when we step,

Sound like old bones breaking in my head,

Life is one big cycle,

Man kills man for a title.

Falling leaves represent me,

But yet so do the new ones,

For to rise and get better,

You must fall a couple times.

Leaves start out fresh and clean,

But again so do people,

Leaves get brown and crispy,

I guess people could too,

That is if you're a cannibal.

The cycle is unending,

But don't you worry,

For everything in life happens for a reason,

Just like it does when leaves start falling.
