When the eyes begin to drift, Lids heavy as lead, The soul awakens from its slumber, And escapes the confines of your head.

Drifting through the sky, Floating higher than the clouds, Into galaxies lost in other dimensions; Where Silence is the only sound.

Stars dance hazily, Asteroids race (each other) like salmon upstream.

Whilst in a nearby untouched planet; Your soul comfortably seats-

Itself upon the wings, Of a Giant butterfly To explore some misty creeks.

In all its graceful glory, The lilac wings hasten speed, It becomes too quick for the tranquil soul, So it drifts off happily into a stream.

Flowing with the waves, Gently grazing against rocks, Tumbling through the turquoise paradise- It halts to a sudden stop.

A rooster crows, It races back, You wake up grumpy, Unaware it had left.
