When you are facing all the pain

I want to endure it for you

And wipe off the tear stain.

When your world’s of darkness and fear

I want to shine a light in

To make your sky clear.

When you are feeling sad and alone

I want to be the confidante

You can always phone.

When your freedom is trapped and bound

I want to help you unlock the chains

So you are safe and sound.

When there’s a train crashing towards you

I want to stand in front

And take the hit through

When you are pointed with a gun

I want to block the muzzle

So you can run.
