“Vedic” study advocates that all living being and the matter of world, to which we direct all our actions, are manifestations of the cosmic energy. Amongst all living being, human being is considered special and unique. This is accepted in all spheres of scientific, philosophical and religious knowledge. The uniqueness of the human being is attributed due to its blossomed intellect that extends to the point of enquiry into truth - about self, the creator and all its creations. Human being alone has the capability to self introspect and at the same time remain aware that it is doing so.
Our understanding of the matter of the world & living being including human being is limited to the informations received through our sense organs e.g. sight, hearing, smell, touch and even taste. It gets even more restrictive while under proceesing through the intellect or “Budhi”, if the latent state of mind or “Citta” is overtly dominant. This limits our capability to openness, flexibility and acceptance. Over a prolonged time, the boundary deepens, putting barrier to every fresh thought process. This darkened zone has been termed as ego or “Ahankar”.
An individual radiates out to attract to self i.e. people with similar energy vibrations or thoughts. This is the reason people of similar thoughts group together & quickly, as they tend to immediately recognize each other from the aura they cast. Their true natures is instinctively known and understood by each other. Thus one sees in others what one radiates out.
Human being can think, analyse and make a choice based on rationale of reasoning and discrimination in complete conciousness. This trait has been a matter of concern in “Vedic” studies due to recognition of the fact that this tendency can become dangerous and disastrous if the choice process turns self centered. “Vedic” compendium primarially addresses the ways and methods to explore through the consciousness in relationship with the mind and deeper truth. “Ved” state that consciousness cannot be easily gasped through mind at its lower level of worldly interface. It can be an experience of mind at higher level only. Delving into consciousness is the privilege of those who possess inner strength, patience and courage of conviction. It is the privilege of human minds alone. “Vedic” compendium therefore lays emphasis to enhance the inherent divinity for the purpose of life and living. “Voyage to Self Discovery” recapatulates this wisdom for the benefits of its readers.
