Before she passed,

I thought life was hard,

But now I realize,

That I was really wrong.

She was a wonderful young woman,

She was very bright too,

I wish I had more time,

What am I going to do?

Her name was Brandy Josephine Grentz,

And she was only 24 years old,

She should still have a long life,

But God was feeling alone.

It has taken all I have,

To not go and join her,

I cry for her not being here,

And I'm not afraid to shed a tear.

I was off practicing football,

At the time she passed away,

She took her last breathe at 12:21p.m.,

At least that is what they say.

I got the call that night,

My other sister Elizabeth told me,

I just remember being shocked,

But again so lonely.

So I say this for Brandy,

This was Gods' plan from the start,

But no matter where you are,

You'll always be in my heart.

Dedicated to:

Brandy Josephine Grentz

1992-2016

May she be in our hearts forever.
