We are immortal souls residing in an immortal body Our purpose long forgotten Overcome by desire The quest to justify our individual mortalities Appeasing to the material gods With the acquisition of things Of status Of honor Of respect Of what use is an immortal soul? If it's time spent in a mortal body destroys it... Has its purpose been locked away in a vault Buried under a pile of gold? Or hidden in a digital cloud Secured by encryption? What will it take For the mortal to once again become immortal?
